Working under the design direction of Kathleen Peragine, we presented an esteemed NYC development group with concepts for the renovation of this 24th street Lobby and a separate development of PreBuilt Tech Space in Midtown Manhattan. The intention of the developments is to draw a more tech. specific professional client leaseholds to acquire the commercial office space(s). The design direction therefore was to take what is once an "old New York" space featuring marble, wooden details, and brass trim and convert it to a space that is equal parts: warm, welcoming, and nuanced. The lobby showcases a canted elevator bank and a canted storefront, this lobby embraces new sustainable lighting systems and enhances the value of the higher floors.
